Among the main challenges established in the migration of Industry 3.0 (I3.0) systems to Industry 4.0 (I4.0), the efficient integration of systems that enable data transmission and acquisition stands out, since several I3.0 systems do not have an adequate interface for the new industrial context. This study was supported by the theoretical framework of I4.0, the Internet of Things (IoT), and systems integration, aiming at modernization and interaction between industrial equipment. Based on the research carried out, the development consisted of using an embedded system as a communication bridge, requiring the development of an electronic circuit with optocouplers to make the different signal levels compatible between the industrial robot and the developed driver. Preliminary and final tests were carried out, both of which successfully validated the proposal, both in terms of functionality and the feasibility of application over short distances. The conversion circuit and the functionality of the web interface enabled stable bidirectional communication with the microcontroller via wireless. In this way, the critical subsystems related to the functionality of the equipment were validated individually. It was observed that the proposed solution tends to represent a relevant path for the application of complete integration systems in Industry 4.0 systems via the web.
